Editorial policy for financial content

THERE.MY publishes location-neutral financial tools and education only when a page has a clear user task, verifiable support and value beyond a search phrase.

Who is responsible

THERE.MY is the publisher and is responsible for every page carrying its name. Article bylines identify THERE.MY and link to the about page. We do not invent writers, reviewers, credentials, testing or personal experience.

Why we publish a page

Each page must help a reader make or understand a financial decision within planning, saving, debt payoff, home buying or long-term investing. A page must add a working calculation, decision framework, worked example, comparison, primary-source task or other practical value. We do not publish keyword-swapped, location-swapped or audience-swapped doorway pages.

How pages are produced

First-party pages combine custom calculators with source-based explanations. Each guide uses a topic-specific route, timeline, matrix, checklist, stack, ledger or decision structure, placed where that format supports the article's reasoning. Automation may assist drafting, formatting, importing, validation and scheduling. Automated checks cannot establish whether a financial claim is true, so the publisher remains responsible for source verification, accuracy, originality and corrections.

Source hierarchy for financial claims

Changing rules and consequential claims should lead to the relevant law, regulator, government agency, official disclosure or first-party documentation. High-quality secondary sources may explain context, but they do not replace the governing source. Educational estimates must state material assumptions and limits. They must not be presented as approval, a forecast or individualized advice.

Imported and commissioned content

An imported article must be made for THERE.MY, fit the site's financial purpose and meet the same standard as a first-party page. The importer checks domain identity, topical fit, source links, heading depth, metadata, internal links, images, repeated copy, keyword density, text similarity and block-level structure. It holds articles that copy another article's outline even when surface wording differs. A capped future queue and three-day spacing prevent a daily run from releasing a large wave. Syndicated, white-label, scraped or unrelated third-party pages intended to benefit from the site's ranking signals are not accepted.

Links, advertising and commercial relationships

Advertising does not determine calculator output, sources or editorial conclusions. Paid or sponsored links must be disclosed and qualified with the appropriate link relationship. The importer rejects untrusted outbound links unless they are qualified. Paid placement cannot be presented as an independent comparison.

Corrections and dates

A publication date records when a page became public. The updated date and sitemap date change only after a substantive content edit, not a draft load or routine database change. Use the editorial contact details to send the page URL, disputed claim and supporting source.
